These textile pieces are traditionally created using a waist loom, a pre-Hispanic technique where the artisan, through a methodical process of thread counting, produces a piece of cloth of incredible beauty. Due to its handmade process, which lasts between 3 to 12 months depending on details, each garment is unique.
The fabric is natural cotton gauze and the embroidery  is done in cotton thread.
